Catless VRSF DP W MPE. sound after install.

Hey I am getting a rasp/vibration during cold start and also during shifting at higher rpms.

I know there are tons of threads about this issue and I have read through tons of them. I'm wondering if the noise I'm getting maybe caused by me bending the midpipe flange up when I was removing the stock DP. I couldn't get it to bend back properly. I just tightened the crap out of the clamp.

Here are a couple videos of the noise. It doesn't sound normal at all and is embarrassing to drive. It's much louder in person.

Ah okay. I thought you said MPE according to your title. Catless dp with the MPPSK will always sound raspy.

Ah wasn't sure there was a difference in mppsk exaust and mpe. Im ok with raspy but it sounds more like a rattling metalic sound. You can't tell as easily in the video.

It's hard to tell in the video but it sounds like a metalic noise instead of a rasp.

With valves open it sounds 10x louder and the metallic sound is very noticable. In The video I'm driving around I have the valves open.

Thinking I'm going to sell the catless DP. Anyone know if a VRSF high flow would get rid of the rasp? Or do I need to change the exaust/add a resonator?

Add a Vibrant 1142 3" Ultra Quiet Resonator. That will get rid of the rasp. Keep the catless DP.
