335xi clutch upgrades

Well my car is at bmw awaiting approval for a new transmission so not sure if they are going to cover a new clutch car has 62k miles but I don’t want not get it done if they don’t approve. I see people are doing the 550 upgrade still, remember that from my 08 335 days. What year 550 are we getting the clutch from? Or is there a better option right now? Thanks

Is the vehicle otherwise stock? If so the 335is/550i clutch will be enough to hold the power. The F30 335i uses the same clutch as the 08 335i. The flywheels are different though.

Spec 2+ should be good.. You can move up to the SPED 3+ if upgraded turbos are in your future.
