You do have another alternative with BimmerCode if you want "options"...

I am usually a reasonable person but their business plan is not good for the consumer. Do not advertise it as such. I was ok with the add ons as a one time charge. I would even be ok with a flat fee of say $80-100 for lifetime updates and access (keep the subscription fee as well). The fact is a good company would make exceptions to keep customers happy. They didn't even offer an alternative.

I am sure you or anyone would be pissed off if you missed something by a day and the company could have given you a heads up before you missed the opportunity.

I have looked into bimmercode. It seems more reasonable but I have read people having issues with the OBD device that he suggests.

I am still waiting to hear back from the Carly again to see if they can help out. Other bad part is they have no phone number to call it is only via email. This could be solved quickly via a phone call.

I got a F31(NBT)and looking to code enhanced bluetooth. Found Carly and if I look up my model it should be possible.

From the carly website:

Audio source iPhone 1/2
• on
• on (alternative)
• off
If an iPhone is connected via USB (either in the glove box or in the center console) it can be used as an audio source. (codable in NBT)

Audio source iPhone 2/2
• on
• on (alternative)
• off
Only change this function with ‘Tire pressure menu in iDrive 1/3’. (codable in NBT)

Anybody knows what the last part means? Time pressure menu 1/3?

Hi everyone I have a 2013 bmw 320i I replaced the halogen light for led and I never did the coding now one headlight low beam and one high beam are not working I took the car to the dealer and they said that the fem module is bad and needs to be replaced I was wondering if there is a way to reset the fem module? I get a permanent code error on my scanner

Hi, Yes I have the newer universal adapter but of late have found with F30's it doesn't clear the fault codes.
