Frustrated with Lack of parts for B46/48

I've been looking and outside of a couple intakes and charge pipes I can't find anything of note. I have all the aesthetic parts I want but there's nothing else. I am coming from an F30 with the N26 and I could've went broke with the parts it has available. am I the only one?

Welcome to the B48 club. There's not many of us on here

What parts exactly are you looking for?

The B46/B48 is relatively new and the B58 is definitely stealing the show at the moment so I don't find the lack of aftermarket parts all too surprising. Regardless, I've been able to find what I've needed for the most part. The only thing I've really been waiting on is BM3.

I would definitely like BM3, I sorta fell in love with the GC and didn't do enough research on the engine. At this point I would be ok with an MPE considering I only have 1 outlet I feel kinda screwed.

I had an F30 with the N26 before my 430i and I honestly like the B48 engine better. I just hope the people at PTF don't forget about us and end up releasing BM3 for the B46/B48. I know they were working on it at some point.

328i/428i MPE fits our cars if you replace the left mounting bracket with the one for the 328i/428i.

Aftermarket options will slowly continue to come out, this is just the downside of picking up a new engine. The B46/B48 is being put in nearly every BMW and Mini model though, so tuning companies would be fools to not develop products for it.

That being said, there are already some options for intakes, downpipes, catback exhausts, and piggybacks. There's even a transmission tune coming in the near future. I'm sure that BM3 will come out someday, although I think that we're in for a long wait considering how long it took for the N20 ECU to be cracked/mapped.

Make sure you clean the inside of the new charge pipe first. Mine had a bunch of loose debris/dirt inside it that would have been sucked into the engine.

Install was easy. I recommend using a pick tool to remove the lower c-clip because it's in a tight spot. Pay close attention to the directions, because there's one screw that can't be transferred from the OEM charge pipe. Otherwise just make sure both connections and the silicone boot have a good seal before tightening any hardware. Try not scratch the anodizing.

That's great to hear (pun). I want more intake noise from my B46, but only if the box is closed and doesn't throw a CEL. I don't trust that there's any horsepower to be gained, too. Injen's closed-box intake looks like the right way to go so far.

I see you're from Midlothian - stay warm this week! I grew up in RVA, went to Godwin and VMI. Cheers

I know you are looking for a closed box but I had great success with the BMS intake. No CEL in 50k+ km running in soaking hot and artic cold weather. I just put an Injen Hydroshield on the filter to avoid sucking it any water. It sounds nice and you can really hear the intake gulping in air after that. Also the price is right on it

I wish Eventuri would build one even though they're like $1.4k for the N20. It's high quality and looks OEM +

Just saw that. Coming up on a year of BM3 for my 328i, love it. Exciting news for you B4x guys! With that being announced and DP's being largely available now, you guys are set!

I'm beyond hyped for BM3

By the way, has anyone blown their B4X charge pipe yet?

Most likely going to install the ER one prophylactically before getting BM3 regardless but I still haven't read about a single issue with the stock one.
