God no, I'm not speaking to those muppets!

All you have to do is contact them via chat and they'll do it. Done this every time.
Thanks for this, definitely doing that next time one arrives late!

I have done it a few times. They have given me a £5 voucher each time against the next purchase which is actually better than a month free Prime.

How do you figure that, considering prime is £7 a month?

I watched the first episode on Friday, Clarkson's put some serious weight on. Wonder when he last saw his feet?

Overall I thought TGT was pretty good - no 'Merican, no guest section.

Anyone else strangely tempted by a Mustang RTR ?

I agree, it was alright. It really comes down to whether you like these guys or not. I do think it'll run out of steam soon though. A decade back they had real broad spectrum appeal, so whole families could enjoy, whereas now they have a feel of some white middle aged men getting older and perhaps a little more narrow minded.

They've already said that their existing format is dead

The next season will focus on the "feature" side and do away with the tent pish

They are 'grumpy old men', particularly Clarkson and May, it's part of the on-screen personas they've developed over the years. I like it

Yes, so do I, and given the typical demographic of this forum is the same as them then no surprise some of us like it!

But I can now see it for what it is. I'll enjoy it while it lasts, but if it doesn't I won't worry too much. However, the thought of it stopping say 5 years ago and I think I would have been more sad.

The fact is, you tube gives me more interesting car content than I have time to watch, and it's also bang up to date. By the time a car features on TG or GT it's already old hat, and you've seen it reviewed 15 times, and usually better too.

So all that's left for them is "entertainment", and that means hamming up their stereotypes.

Week 2 and I'm out. Gave it ten minutes. Seen enough of these stupid road trips in old cars to last me a life time. Bloody 2 parter as well.

I might give it another try in episode 4 when this is all over, or I might just skip the lot.

I didn’t say anything about paying monthly, £80 divided by 12 is roughly £7!

Unfortunately I have to agree with you Alex, watched first few minutes then I was on my iPad for most of the rest of it!

How many times have they done the messing about getting their cars from water to land, and driving over dodgy bridges!

Its pretty much what i was saying about the 1st one. They have done it all before and it feels like a very old format to me. I guess if you are new to Prime and never watched TG before it would seem great..i guess?
