Intermittent powdered sugar smell from AC

Hi,
Kind of an odd issue. Whenever the temp outside is over mid 80s, I get a strong smell kind of like powdered sugar from the AC - sometimes it will also happen when I am driving in Eco mode.
Most of the time there is no smell at all from the AC.
I've replaced the cabin filter thinking it was that, and no change.
Thanks

How's your coolant level? Any overheating? Sweet smell is typically coolant

To be honest, I am not sure how to check this - but I'll look it up. Thanks for the suggestion. No overheating.
