haha interestingly, my reflink is "bonus"! Great Minds!

Im still all in - just short 7 figs. I personally think it was a long time coming. I was in since 5c at ICO and have bought bits and bobs over time. I think seen every AMA and helped their team out where I can.

I've asked Kevin some difficult questions over the years and he deals with them like a true professional with sometimes alarming transparency. Quite unprecedented imho.

Ive always thought of it as an all-or-nothing investment so only thrown in relatively small amounts due to the risk. Call it a gamble, but i honestly think i'd cope better losing the lot rather than taking it out and seeing it 5-10x gain afterwards! Where to get out i have no idea, but its certainly teaching me a little about my own psychology to loss and gain.

Whats your strategy going forward?
Ed, congrats on your crypto portfolio performance and well done for sticking with it and not selling out. Will we see first forum Lambo soon 🤣or are you a sensible (boring) one?

Oof. BTC 58k to 45.5k. Signs were there at the weekend that a drop was coming, but didn't see it being this large.

Rebound? Or a further drop to a different support line?

Looks like rebound incoming. No signs or reasons for bear market. If rebound confirmed we should see $65k bitcoin in short term

No reasons for the rise either and press recently not exactly positive on its use.

Yeah a healthy bounce so far. Where do you see long term support? This would appear to be the 20d MA that's been retested/held today from a very quick look.

My view has always been that this rally/bull market would hit a high in the 60-80k zone, an opinion I've held since 2018.

ETA / my post wasn't inferring that we were ready for a bear market yet. It was the long legged doji on the
Daily on Sunday (iirc) that had me thinking that the immediate rally had run out of steam and a support retest was imminent.

Looks like this dip is clear cut manipulation started on kraken exchange prices on both BTC and ETH were artificially pushed down(eth reached low of $700 on kraken). And because kraken prices used in the basket to determine average price that resulted in mass liquidation of futures.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread as XRP is currently at 1.34.

I bought a few XRP coins sometime in Feb at about 37p each after reading through this thread, only in the £100's worth, but in the last few weeks I've more than doubled my money.

I'm using coin metro as suggested here, and when you look at the market data shown there, pretty much every single crypto currency has trebled in value since Jan 2021...

Am I naïve and fanciful to think that my 37p XRP coins are going to be worth in the £10's, £100's, £1000's or even £10,000's each at some point?

Don't know how much history you know but XRP was over $3 in early 2018, before a mega fall. It's U-shaped weekly chart makes for interesting viewing.

Good news for you it that it's up 15% this morning, trading at $1.93 in the app that I use.

ETA reads like I'm a tad bearish on XRP. I'm not, was a big supporter for a while but have not kept up with developments in recent years.

CoinMetro has a policy of meticulously vetting the projects it lists so that's one of the reasons why they've risen so much - they are certainly some of the best. Many other exchanges list absolute trash.

Not sure whats going on with XRP but i moved all my mining profits into it a few weeks ago so it was a nice surprise!

There's been two positive rulings for XRP in the SEC court case , and that seems to be generating a lot of interest and excitement in it.
It does seem from what I read that it's likely to be a really key part of FIAT currency exchanges in the future, with progress being made with it's role in central banks.

Certainly seems worth a punt for buying a few coins and holding on to them.

I think it’s possible for XRP to hit £10 - £20 over the next few years but I wouldn’t really expect it to get into the hundreds or higher.

Have to agree but I was also sceptical about it hitting $1. The problem with it is that small number of whales control large % of supply but I must admit xrp is my go to crypto for when I need to move capital between different platforms, almost instantinious and extremely cheap

I'm a massive proponent of XRP. Working in the Banking sector I can see its value. Whether it gets wide spread adoption is another. Nonetheless, I did a big trade for my appetite around £10k worth of XRP when it was trading at 55c just prior to the second discovery hearing. Its worked an absolute treat.

For those that like XRP, I would also suggest looking into HBAR. Another project that is backed by some serious institutions.

Looks like you're in good shape. What is your selling price? I was expecting a large sell off this morning. Instead it kept going up!

I sold my 1 bitcoin at $10,000 and have sold too early on a bunch of other recent investments. I'm going to ride this one out and see where it's at in a year or so. I'd rather lose all of my money then sell too soon again.

200k coins. Would have cost him 8k up front but he could have flipped it for ~80k a couple days ago.
