It sucks but there's not much I'd do unless it happened multiple times. I'd get one of those signs to hang on the rear view mirror for next time though.

I'd ask to speak with the Service Manager and politely and calmly state that you specifically asked for it not to be washed, they did, and now it is not as you gave it to them. Then, I'd ask for reimbursement for a professional detailing or compensation for your time to fix the damage. Calm, polite, and professional and hopefully they will comply. My SA asked once about washing and now knows to mark the service order paperwork as Do Not Wash. I leave a DNW sign on the dash just to make sure.
Sidebar is that my Sales Rep told me that if I put a dealership branded license plate frame on my car, I could get unlimited free washes through their automatic car wash any time I wanted. I politely told him I prefer to wash it myself. I should have added that if they wanted me to advertise their dealership, they'd have to compensate me. Bonus: I picked the car up in SC at PCD so it was dealer-emblem free from Day 1.
