bootmod3 flash failed - can't start car. PLEASE HELP!

I have a 2016 340i stock. I tried flashing bootmod3 stage1 91 ACN tune. I attempted this with a OBD to ENET and ENET to USB on my laptop. The flash failed and I have warnings on my idrive and can't start the vehicle. I'm freaking out.

The warnings on the iDrive say;

Drivetrain malfunction
Chassis stabilization

I tried to flash back to stock but it failed again.

Can anyone help me out? I just want to get the car back to stock. I hope I am posting in the right area but if someone can help me out or point me in the right direction I'd really really appreciate it.

If you require more info I can post it. I copied the logs from the bootmod3 agent into a word file.

EDIT: I am looking around online and see that I may be able to flash to stock. Would I just use the "FORCE FLASH (DIAG ONLY)" option?

Is flash failing and not going past 3%?

If it is then it may be caused by 3 things:

#1. Faulty cable - replace the OBD2 Ethernet cable and any adapter cable that you may be using.

#2. Low battery - fully charge your battery and ensure to use a battery charger that does 20-50amps.

#3. Something is blocking your flash - aftermarket CarPlay, piggyback, exhaust valve controller, GPS system, aftermarket alarm system etc.. Physically disconnect them and try once more.

I think the DME is locked. I sent an email/support request to PTF. I heard they help out by connecting remotely if needed. Tomorrow morning I am going to try and do the force flash thing.

The flash went to 100% and started clearing codes then said it failed. I don't have any of the things you mentioned. I also made sure I turned off my firewalls.

I appreciate your reply. I'm just totally stressing out.

Another thing is that your DME might have the current software installed which prevents unlock and flash tuning via OBD2. PTF can confirm it for you.

I am working with an agent from PTF via email at the moment. I have to say it's a relief that they got back to me so quick. I'm hoping this is a relatively easy fix..

It's fixed!

I sent a customer support request late last night and by 6:30 this morning I had a message from Dzenan. He walked me through how to get the flash tune back on the car.

I was completely freaking out and now the car is fixed thanks to the amazing support by PTF & Dzenan.

Appreciate everyone who chimed in here trying to help!

After market carplay blocks the tune?

That's what PTF told me when I bricked my DME before.
I don't have aftermarket carplay btw.. my issue was something else.

this needs to be sticky.

If your flash fails, flash back to stock and you will be fine.

I saw that Enet to USB is not recommended for BM3. Could that be the culprit?

Also had a flash fail before while doing it with my phone. Car's flash was completely shot and wouldnt start. Flash back to stock and reflash using Enet and I was on my way. Never re-used my phone to flash since.

the best way to do it is direct without using any adapters, of course, that requires a PC with an Enet port and you need to disable all firewalls and virus protection software.

I still recommend using an adapter to your phone for the fastest and easiest flash. If you lose connection (very rare), just flash back to stock and flash it again
