Built myself about 6 months ago, and vehicle was totaled out last month. You can safely stand on the enclosure, and it's been tested/sealed for airtightness. I have 8-10 years experience in car audio so this isn't a first time DIY job.
Enclosure was built for a JL W3 10" (not included). Upholstery shop wrapped with industrial strength adhesive, so it shouldn't fail anytime soon. (It lasted 6 months in the Texas heat, so that's a good sign).
