Plastidip rim color ideas

So I'm bored of my Avant Garde being gray and want to dip them a different color

What are your thoughts for a black car..?

I was thinking of some shade of pink / red but not sure what looks good on these cars if others have done them

I have a black car too and have fantasized about getting gold or dark bronze rims, the latter you could probably do more easily with plastidip than the former. This is pretty much what I'm talking about, and the wheels are pretty similar to yours too:

But yes, more power to you if you go with a crazy color like hot pink! When I lived in a cold climate I got a set of steelies for winter wheels and powdercoated them pink (this was on a MKV VW GTI though).

I second this....I made the huge mistake of having my 403M wheels professionally plasti dipped and highly regret it. Brake dust stuck to them like there was no tomorrow. The dust was like glue on dipped wheels, they looked dirty and cheap. And it was an absolute nightmare to remove the dip even with a ton of coats. It took my girlfriend and I about 10 hours total to get it all off and we ended up having to use gasoline and WD40. They were only dipped for 16 months (semi gloss black) and it was still that bad. Just spend the extra money to get them powder coated and you won't regret it - or keep as is.

I had the same problem, regardless of how many coats I had. It took about 5hrs to remove most of the plasti dip

those this is a bmw comments are super stupid, do what you want with your car... I've had pastidipped wheels on my x5 for years. actually changed the wheel color on average twice per summer, gloss and flat black, grey, gunmetal, bright silver, metallic blue, gold, bronze etc.... its easy on/easy off when done correctly. if you dont get enough spray on the sides of the spokes it can be a pain though. so just make sure you spray in there as much as you do on the wheel faces and it'll all come off easy. i used can per wheel on my 23" agetro m100s
