2016 F32 fog light flicker

I've tried to find any answers but came up empty handed.
If I have the fog lights on, it's fine for about 2 to 3 minutes then it starts to flicker almost like a strobe light. If I turn it off and on, it restarts the 2 to 3 minute timer and it does it again.
I have no idea what's causing this. Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this?
I'm pretty sure the fog lights are stock. I bought the car second hand.

Looks LED. You can also tell by turning it on and seeing whether the light is white or yellow.

I just used bimmercode and changed fog lights to LED. warm and cold monitoring was already set as not active. it's still flickering. no clue how to fix this lol

When I put LED in my fogs they had a flicker problem despite coding. I added 15 ohm resistors and it stopped. They're cheap, so it's worth a shot.

I don't recommend the 6 ohm resistors that are marketed for use with LED, they get too hot.

It's easy enough, there are plenty of on line sources that show how to parallel wire a resistor with an LED bulb. You can even find harnesses with the correct connectors so you don't have to mess with cutting wires, but you first have to find out what connectors your car has, especially if the previous owner installed the LEDS. That's a PITA as you need to take off the wheel and remove the wheel well liner to get at the lamps, but c'est la vie.

I just spoke with the previous owner. everything should be oem apparently so he has no idea why it's flickering.

Mine came with the resistor already wired in. Either yellow or white adjustable by turning the switch off and on. Amazon $50.00 love them.
