Have you noticed?
The wheels on the new 3 series went up in size in diameter. 225/50 17 vs 225/45 17 on current car. I think as a result yes, it's gonna make tyre purchases more expensive but at the same time this adds sidewall and more comfort and also makes the wheels fill the arches a bit nicer. I'm pretty pleased about this as I think current wheels, design wise, are always a little too small. |

It wouldnt be any different than all of the previous 5 and 3 series. You can already tell there are very distinct differences between the overall shape of the two cars.

I agree with you, this 5 series design of middle section looks much better, but maybe it's not the final design of the interior that is in that test car.
