Any ideas, on what kind of fix is this? 2018 440i gran coupe

I was driving at a high speed with my 440i and started hearing a sound of like metal or plastic scrapping against the ground. I only hear it when im driving at 50 mph or more, I have attached photos to what I saw when I looked underneath the car.

Looks like it could be the heat shield that goes between the exhaust and transmission.

Hopefully this is just random debris that happened to become jammed in your chassis when you ran over it.

I think all of the heat shield has the waffle effect on it. This looks more like a random piece of road debris.

The heatshields are dimpled and look fine. Its either road debris or the little metal underbody panel support thats in that general area. Hard to tell from the pic but I'm leaning toward debris.

To me, that looks like the cross brace that goes over the mid-pipe to stiffen the chassis. Should be easy to replace and the good thing is they make aftermarket replacements.
