Thanks for the video and being the guinea pig. I'd personally appreciate it a whole lot if you made another video once you get the final version of the blanket so idiots like me cant mess it up when installing it.

I am wondering if this may cut down on some of the plastic bits failing since it sounds like it greatly reduced the heat.

I'm interested if it can be easily installed after only removing the air-box.

Pretty much everything in the engine bay. But yeah it should definitely help. Typically we see coolant fittings/hoses, wires, etc get brittle from heat in the engine bay over time, and this will keep engine bay temps down from one of the primary heat sources.

Still working on some updates and working on some responses from them. I would also recommend reaching out to them to show your interest to help move this forward.

no, but that's also not the only purpose of a turbo blanket

Hey everyone! Sorry for delays in this, we have been working with PTP to come up with good solutions for making install easier. I believe we have it finalized now and they are starting a small production run of 20 blankets. I am sure we have enough people interested to cover this first production run and with the interest and quick sale of them they can produce more.

As far as noticed benefits I can say you can't "feel" a difference but the science is there that it helps with quicker spoon at temp. I can say for sure that just opening the hood after hard runs the compartment temp feels noticeably cooler. I am going to do some logs today to see where IAT is. I have previous logs to use and see what difference actually is.
