I think HUD is almost guaranteed since the new X3 has it, but I have doubts on vented seats and night vision. I would love to see both though, would really up the anti on the competition.

It's amazing how much effort the German car makers put in perfecting their cars.

When the new Chevy Camaro first came out, owners immediately complained about brake noise.. Chevy then responded by slapping lead weights on the calipers to reduce the noise

Is this test car equipped with M-sport front and back or is it the regular one?

Whats a 1 series fuck up?

Have you noticed?

The wheels on the new 3 series went up in size in diameter. 225/50 17 vs 225/45 17 on current car. I think as a result yes, it's gonna make tyre purchases more expensive but at the same time this adds sidewall and more comfort and also makes the wheels fill the arches a bit nicer. I'm pretty pleased about this as I think current wheels, design wise, are always a little too small.

I mainly refer to the fugly huge headlights, the small grille and the HUGE panel space between them. I mean, come on the front of the new 1er is such a mess.

I would't like to see something similar on the new 3er.

That's the same same interior as in the new 1er? I don't see much difference. Although I like the white leather tone.

It wouldnt be any different than all of the previous 5 and 3 series. You can already tell there are very distinct differences between the overall shape of the two cars.

Even BMW's own testdrivers don't know what to do with the key. Keyless go, I hate it.

Obviously you'll be able to tell them apart but in terms of features/options, the E90 and E60 never really shared the same things. The E90 would almost be a basic BMW but now we might get the options of lane departure warning and side cameras? The 3er is stepping up big this time around - it's gone from an excellent handling machine and now we might get the luxuries never offered before on a 3er.

Also, if you take a look at the renders (which some have hinted at being very close to the final), I don't recall the 3 looking so similar to the 5.

new luxuries = more weight! No getting around that.

So... how much will this new F30 car weigh than the old e90? 15% more?

I actually don't like the empty space in the middle, it makes it look like an economy car, I prefer the 5 and X3 style for the dashboard

I agree with you, this 5 series design of middle section looks much better, but maybe it's not the final design of the interior that is in that test car.

Agreed. I also think the interior of the new F20 is amazing though as well

It's not a Camaro problem exclusively though hahaha, Brembo brakes are known for the fact that they squeal like crazy. It's because the pads they come with are absolute crap. Search "Brembo Brakes Squeal" and you'll find complains from Evo's all the way to Lexus.
