Lightbulb BMW NA Launch Event: Alpine White 435i M Sport (Updated with Video and More Pics)

BMW NA Launch Event: Alpine White 435i M Sport Coupe

COMMENTS

Last week kicked off the U.S. press launch drive event for the 4 Series Coupe and 3 Series Gran Turismo (GT) and we were on hand in Seattle for the event.

We'll post our review soon, but for now here are photos and a video of an Alpine White 435i xDrive with M Sport package. The M Sport package for the 4 Series includes:
  • M Sport suspension standard (RWD models only)
  • M Sport Brakes standard (also available as stand-alone option on all 435i coupes and optional upgrade on 428i coupe when M Sport is chosen)
  • M aerodynamic package (front apron, rear bumper/diffuser, side skirts)
  • High-gloss Shadow Line trim
  • Estoril Blue Metallic option only available with M Sport
  • M Sport 18" or optional 19" wheels (435i only)
  • Interior: M door sills, M leather steering wheel, M driver's footrest

The 2014 435i starts in the US at $46,000 ($48,000 for xDrive). The M Sport package is an additional $3,100. [see 2014 4 Series Pricing Guide]

Looking better and better now that we have live more photos in different colors. Thanks for uploading these and look forward to the next set of photos showing the MR/VB and EB/VB options.

Wow the 4 series is looking better each time I see it.

But you have to get the M-sport only, I just realised this now. MG is still the pick for me now.

Holy hell I just noticed those two butchered PDC sensors in the front. Is the F30 like that? I only have rear sensors and they're cleanly integrated.

The 19" 4 series M Sport wheels looks good on the car!

But I'm not sure I like the triangular shaped detail where every second spoke meets the rim.

The wheel gaps and height on the xDrive look great. Lower than my 335 xDrive coupe.

Seriously... I posted about this over in the MG photo thread, but it's still somewhat unclear. My bet is that they are NOT standard for US cars.

There is not a single person I have encountered, forum or online, who can give a difinative answer on these brakes.

I''ll go ahead and assume the car pictured above has the $650 M Sport brake option.

I think they could have done a better job with this car to be honest I like the M Sport bumper on the sedan a lot more, this looks overly done like its trying too hard to look aggressive. Sometimes less is more. It fits on the M4 I just dont like all the cuts and curves on this car. just my 2 cents.

Can anyone photoshop in an AW fender vent?

Also, has BMW confirmed this to be configurable or will folks need to look at an aftermarket option?

Glad that diffuser section is black instead of body color like the M Performance concept.

I hate how all these new BMWs have those big black diagonal bars behind the kidney grills that are so obvious. Car looks alright. Side vents still look tacky and cheap and like shit. BMW kind of owes it to itself to stop diluting the M brand with all these different lines and M badging on everything.
