I picked up a 2019 330i on Friday. It is hit or miss getting the car to respond, except for the Remote 3D view, it never works. Craps put when the car tries to Activate Camera system. Have the privacy settings correct and the mirrors are unfolded. Frustrating

I wish I could add an US address in the Canadian app.

Imported a 2016 328i from Canada to USA.

Tried both version of the app.

The Canadian app does not allow US address in owner profile while the US version does not take Canadian cars...

Hope some update in the future could fix this so I don't have to ask the dealer to re-program my car to a US version ( while he is not sure whether that could fix the problem)

You need to do a market change to have the Canadian VIN moved to the US market. Then it will allow you to add it in the US version of the Connected App under your US account.

If you call 1-888-333-6118, they should be able to assist with this.

vehicle is too far away to determine location - Connected app

Is there a distance limit to track your car with connected app. when I am at work and try to locate my vehicle it keeps showing me a message that "vehicle is too far away to determine location"

So my CD subscription just expired on my MY'17 340. I can't use BMW apps anymore? WTF, why is this tied to a CD subscription?

Just an update that I noticed recently, BMW Connected App on android from what I heard will be phased out by end of June 30, 2021 and we will have to migrate to a new app called 'My BMW' just downloaded started using it today.

Layout on the old app looks more thought out, but the features still work, different layout. Not sure about sending locations to the vehicle. I hope Canadian33 can chime in on differences..

also BMW m lap timer app seem like only use US account. I can't log in using my Canadian account that i use to log in my BMW app
