That's fantastic.

What on earth is the system to prevent rear-end collision??

Sat in them in the 7 series and just had to get them, getting old..

Agreed with the colour choices, however Carbon Black and Night blue leather sounds good

Will be interesting sorting a test drive out and see what spec it gets.

If I do go for one it will be the Hearse version and Xdrive.
Sad I know but I was genuinely excited when I saw yesterday BMW had released pictures of the dog carrier!

From what I have seen it like a small phone that contains elements of the connected app.

If you have remote park you can drive the car with the key using the touch display

I would assume it moves the car forward if it detects someone about to hit you (obviously only if there's nothing in front of you)

Either that or it has rear mounted rocket launchers? :

Doesn't it need to be recharged though? And takes up most of your pocket? And surely everything it does can be done on the connected app? I'd stick with the standard key.

Charges in the car on wifi charging. I'm undecided if I'll use it. Mainly due to the fact I can't attach house keys to it.

The regular keys are very nice as well.

But surely you'd have to take the key out if your pocket to charge it? Why can't you have other keys attached to it?

Yeah place it in the wifi charging bit same as a phone.

Because there is nowhere to attach key to

See no place to fit a key ring with other keys.

Sounds like too much of a faff to me!

Tbh I don't think there's any options I'd have on the G30 except for what I've got on my car, most just seem like gimmicks to me.

Congrats on the order mate

Coming from an F10, the G30 looks stunning and certainly some tech in there!
It'll be a tough choice when my 2 year PCP is up whether I go for a G30 or an LCI F32, I know you can't really compare the two as they're totally different but there are a lot of things I miss from the F10 but also some I hated.

Post pictures when she's with you
