Oil Drain pan

Can anyone recommend a good relatively inexpensive oil drain pan for oil changes?

You almost cant go wrong. Ive literally been using something very similar to this... for so long I cant remember exactly where I got it (about a solid 4.5 years on the F30).

Once full of dirty oil, carefully pour back into the original jug and return to store for disposal. You could invest in something metal but its really not necessary for the average DIY'er.

This one from Harbor Freight has served me well:

Do pick up some bulk mesh material and use it as a splash guard. I cut out a small piece of this stuff and put it on top of the pan.

I've been using one of these for at least five cars now:

It's just a plastic container to hold liquid. You really can't go wrong with any particular one that you buy

The open top ones are easy to kick & can splash oil. I have had one similar to sspade's for 30 years, but the one from Billfitz will also do the job.
