How to remove 2017 F30 LCI headlight bulb?

EDIT #1: It looks like I have an "LCI" model. Nothing comes up still on Youtube. :-(

EDIT #2: The 2007 E60 appears to have the exact connector. Here's video links for anyone interested in the future:

EDIT #3: Repair manual instructions: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...lights/GGHNQCd

Hello fellow F30 friends. I have a question which I have not been able to answer no matter where I search. I have tried YouTube and Googling, but no luck.

How the heck do I pull the H7 bulb from the holder it comes in? I am trying to replace the bulb with a LED replacement, but I cannot pull the bulb.

All tutorials and videos on YouTube show a F30 BMW, but those have the regular two prong female connectors, not this weird holder my car has.

Furthermore, I have noticed that my stock headlamp housing has a weird metal shroud that's installed permanently and it looks like the stock halogen bulb tip goes into that metal shroud. This metal shroud is not present in the videos of other F30's.

My car is a 2017 BMW 330i with stock halogen lamps but LED DRL's.

The pictures of what I am talking about can be seen here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/37ad8cRtH85pSihy9

Any help would greatly be appreciated. I have lost 2 days already on this.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Ricardo

Thanks bud, that would help if that's the actual connector it uses, however, it's a weird plug. I did find that if I search for instructions on changing out the e60 bulbs, they have the same connector.

Have you looked at the owners manual on the iDrive?

This manual is specific to each vehicle and tells you how to change the bulbs and what type each bulb is.

Hi, I'm in the process of chaining my low beam lights on my 330e and I'm having the same questions as OP (at least I think because the links above are dead). Here's a picture of the mount
