This man had me zelle him $350 for a used bm3 license and just ghosted. The time I call back a women picks up and never heard of a guy by this name. Then I email the email that I sent the money to. The dude says he's never done anything like this.

He mostly sells old parts. I don't want anyone else getting caught up in his scams. Honestly just tedious and low life asf.

When Zelle itself says to only use it to send money to those you know and trust why would you use it to send money to a stranger?

Venmo does have a purchase mode now that charges the "seller" a small fee.

PayPal has a friends option that's free to the payee. If someone tells you to use that option so that they don't get charged the fee chances are it's a scammer, because that option also means you don't get buyer protection and can't file a claim against them.
