Another issue occurred..
The mechanic told me everything is fine, engine running fine but....
When he drove it once it was all good and on the second run (after shutdown and starting) he got an error code - no signal from camshaft position sensor.
Any thoughts?

The two most likely reasons are a disconnected wire and a bad sensor.

Most likely its due to poor fuel quality.

Cp Carrillo, stock rods, stock specs - 82mm, 11:1 compression.
As of now I'm still in the break in procedure.
Logging every drive, having 1 or 2 misfires at the most which is ok.
Btw, what app should i use with vlinker adapter to log or see raw data ? I'm using torque but i prefer something more modern or up to date.

Are you getting misfires on stock tune or are you back to using bootmod3? Also what makes you say that 1-2 misfires are okay?

well ideally you shouldn't be getting any misfires at all. In 60k kms of driving, I've never had a single misfire in my car. Misfires are not good for the engine. You can blow pistons, bend rods etc. Did your mechanic tell you why you are getting misfires?

He told me it's common when it's still not warm enough and shouldn't be a problem. Because I'm still in engine break in I'm not pushing it more then 3k rpm, so no wot.
In a week or 2 I'll change oil and will do a log to see how it runs.

For datalogging you should be using something like MHD or BM3 that has custom PIDs and a high sample rate. What did you originally use to tune the car? Does that not have datalogging capabilities? I use torque on other cars but there are better options here. Bimmerlink also has datalogging i think but i am not sure how it compares to BM3 or MHD.

I have bm3 but i need my laptop for it (and I'm looking for something casual on a daily basis). I'm using vlinker Bluetooth adapter, it can not be synced to bm3. I'll look into bimmerlink, bimmercode for example doesn't have logging option.

BM3 has phone apps now, at least for flashing. I am a MHD user myself so not sure of their logging capabilities.

You can log using your phone with Bootmod3.

I've asked bm3 support - they do not support Bluetooth adapters.

BT is too slow. You need a Wifi or wired adapter. I know MHD supports both. BM3 may only support wired.
