VO Code:

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read (ECU) => Right-Click on FEM_BODY (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.

Thank you for that clear instructions !

You also said individual light modules. How can I check which module is for lights ? Is there any kind of cheat sheet for that?

Ok, angels eyes are now working, one of the connection modules where totaly rusted and rotten, I replaced it and it's working. I also reprogrammed my radio to polish langugage finally !! I'm super happy with that.

One last thing. The car is from Canada, blinkers (turn signals) in those lamps are not working, therefore I can't drive this car because noone will see if I'm turning left right. My friend told me that because it is a car from Canda I need to disable "sidemarkers" int those lamps and then blinkers will work. shawnsheridan can you direct me how to accomplish that ?

Change last digit of Typschlussel from 3 to 1.

As I understand I need to:

1. Edit FA in "Fa editor"
2. Save changes
3. Open corrected FA in coding, and than do a FEM_BODY code ?

VO Code FEM, and both FLE Modules, but VO Coding FEM to European will affect more than just Sidemarker Lights.

Means the Option Codes in FA are somehow not compatible with the revised Typschlussel. Need to look at FA for a factory Euro Spec same car, and see where FA differs.

Again, this is very broad chnage. You are better off finding Sidemarker FDL Codes and changing only those.

Good luck with it.

Ok, some progress with lights. I replaced the LED module (right one) in my car. Now blinkers works in that particular lamp but only for 2 seconds. Then it disables and no longer works.

The left lamp needs to be replaced again, something is totally wrong with this one so now I'm not going to work on it right now, waiting for part to be delivered.

Here is the behavior show on left lamp after turning singal right.

https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1Q...JSLiMQiMzCSazt

So as you can se it only blinks twice....than it shuts off.

Ista+ says...

Hi Guys,

Just starting out here.
Got Esys 3.27.1 with psdzdata lite v63.3. EST with PIN is configured and working.

Trying to do some coding with an F87 M2C.
I'm able to connect, activate FA, load coding values.
However when I try Edit FDL all I get is dots with no descriptions.

Can I get a hand with deciphering this?
shawnsheridan ??

Hi Shawn I am having problems with my first time coding. I use Esys launcher pro 2.8.2. Esys 3.27.1. PSdZ data lite 4.21.32.7. but when I connect and try to VO code. When i tried to code the first ECUs out of four. It stopped working. Would you mind to correct me if I did something wrong. Thanks in advance.

I tried using the PSdZ version 63.3. When I activate FA it was looping

If any one can help me with this I appreciate.
