Corroding 403M again...

Our F31 is a July 2014 325D - came with 403 from the factory. We purchased it in September 2016 with 35k miles on it. In June 2017 we had all wheels replaced because of corrosion around the centre caps.

Obviously the car is now out of warranty - at the service in January I pointed them in the direction of corrosion around one centre cap. Videos / photos sent off to BMW and it will be replaced again - to be honest wasn't expecting that!

That's good to know - at least you won't have to clean your wheels for a while now!

Well done, on my now gone 4 Series, I had corrosion in the usual place on a previously replaced under warranty wheel. Back to BMW to be told that as the wheel had been replaced under warranty with no charge, it did not have any warranty
I spoke to BMW UK, who decided that they would make a gesture, their gesture was - Offer a replacement wheel, with no warranty, pay 80% of the punter price to have it fitted, keep the old wheel and charge me £250. Hmmmmm A new one isn't much more, would come with a warranty and I have no doubt that my friendly tyre fitter would have done the necessary for a fiver. Anyway, I sold the car to BMW, they can fix it.
