CEL Code $7E0
Recently on my 2013 328i Xdrive I got a check engine light. I checked the code with OBD II Fusion app and its it read $7E0 (picture included). I cleared it once thinking maybe it had something to do with the gas cap not being on right or right enough considering that code is referring to something with the EVAP. Drove for about 350ish miles and CEL came back on minutes after filling up at the gas station.
Has anyone had this code before and know what it could be? Recently had a friend tell me it could be a crack in the filler tube but wanted to get input from anyone else who's experienced this or has other thoughts. Out of town for the next few days but will likely bring it into Bimmer Clinic (BMW specialists/ performance shop) to see what they think about it. Let me know what you think, anything could help!

I may replace that, clear it and see what happens. There's a few steps I'll take to diagnose the problem to see if I can fix it myself.

Replaced the gas cap with a genuine BMW cap and cleared the code and it went away! Thankfully a simple and easy fix.
