No lubricant? (Brakejob)

Recently did a brakejob for my girlfriends F31 on the front side.
Interestingly the guiding pins did not need to be lubricated according to newtis/ISTA.

What do you do? Did I perform my brakejob the right way by following that directive in the instructions?

Normally (outside of what newTIS says) you grease them with silicon grease. If relatively the mileage is low on your GFs car, you can skip it once, it’s not a big deal.
