How's the ride quality ? Any issues against the bumps ?
It's noticeably stiffer, but I prefer it that way. I'd actually prefer it to be even stiffer than it is. Ride quality is excellent IMHO.

Sweet write up, Sedan. Will def help people on the fence about getting performance shocks. Bilsteins with any upgraded spring setup is a must. Your car looks sick, even more so in person.

your review helps a lot for those who are still searching, it definitely does..
Hey, speaking of which, any plan for swaybars upgrade? I read somewhere in here that either Eibach or H&R has already came out with a swaybars set for both front & rear..

Thanks man.....as does yours. Got me re-thinking those damn M Performance side skirt extensions and vinyl accompaniments too. LOL! Those LM's bring a tear to my eye just a bit.

I think a guy overseas got a pair of H&R sway bars that were prototypes. I don't know if a consumer kit is ready, but when and if it is, I'm on it.

I love the ride quality more & more as the days pass. I find that I am now very eager to take turns aggressively. I ran the car through a slalom (..self designed with pylons), and the car was noticeably more agile and predictable. I don't have any instruments to extrapolate quantitative figures, but just based on my personal feelings and driving abilities (..and the comparison with my previous set-up), I can state with absolute certainty that this new set-up is worth every penny.

No bottoming out......! Phew! I think that a set-up like this should be offered from the factory. I haven't had any "behind-the-wheel" seat time in an MPS car, but I'd imagine that it probably feels closely similar to my current set-up (..probably a bit more compliant, but close enough) without the further reduced ride height. If BMW can/will continue to offer M-Performance suspension options (..ideally with a few different spring rates and height reduction options) and M-Performance tuning and braking options, I think they will hit payload. People LOVE to pay for warrantied performance parts. They get the best of both worlds. Imagine being able to tick a few boxes and buy your car with a nice dump, some big brakes, some aero components and some larger diameter/wider wheels (...BMW, come on! Stop with this 8.5" crap and give us some 9.5-10" rear wheels) right from the factory. Enthusiasts would be all over that.

The differences between these and the coilover version is the height adjustability. My car is fixed based on the H&R spring.

Well said, couldn't agree more!

Glad you're happy with the setup, looks great and sounds like the performance is there as well. Be pulling the trigger on this as well very soon!

How much more is the coil over kit?
