Correct they need someone who knows how to back up your stock coding through e-sys incase anything goes wrong.

Any decent coder should be able to help you with it. Bm3 dealer, Xhp dealer etc.

I just ordered it and will let you know. I don't see any solid write-ups on the install, or much documented on performance gains, but maybe I've just missed it. So, I'll try and document it.

Would love to hear your thoughts and your experience. I am also in Austin (RR) so it is cool to have someone local giving this a shot. I have the DINAN Stage 1/Elite and am waiting for the trans tune to pull the trigger on both. I am happy with the DINAN, but really looking forward to the smoothness of the flash tune as well as hopefully a few extra HP. The DINAN can get a bit jerky as it fights itself and tries to get the transmission to join in the party.

Awesome, I'm on the edge of Round Rock, by Avery Ranch. I haven't heard from MP yet, but if they send me the flash and my cable comes today, I'll do it tomorrow or this weekend.

I can try to ping you if you want to see the process and comparison. My car has the Track Handling Package, with the 19" wheel option and xDrive, but is currently stock and 19k miles.

Hey bro, I'm over in East RR. Got an X3 M40i and it just screams. I just upgraded to the MP Stage 3 + TCU tune. I think it's Hellcat fast!

By the way, hellcat fast? Sounds like an over estimation. I have the stage 2 flash tune already. How much faster does stage 3 and trans tune feel over just stage 2 tune? What does the butt Dyno tell you? Lol

Bet your car is really fun to drive, but no where near hellcat fast. Maybe a 0-60 race might give you a lead due to AWD advantage, but freeway wouldn't be the same.

Once all the issues with the B58 are resolved, hopefully pure stage 2 can get us there.

I see the reflash but there isn't any indication of a stage 1 or stage 2 as implied on another recent mission performance post. Nor do I see a stage 3 flash tune. I guess when ready to buy I'll just give Alex a call.

Hey, so, I've only got to launch it once, and it's beyond insane. My butt dyno is setting off alarms!

I'd say there's a potential for a 3.5 second 0-60. As for 1/4 mile, definitely got to be in the 11s.

SO, almost Hellcat fast.

The Trans Reflash IS the tune, you purchase that, when you FLASH your trans, it is called Stage 3 in the Application

I don't want to speak for Alex or MP, to my knowledge the Stage 3 ECU tune is not fully public yet. If you've previously purchased Stage 2, you can likely request Stage 3.

The Stage 3 ECU tune is paired to work well with the Stage 1 TCU tune.

Do you guys know if I can safely run the stage 2 tune with the stock downpipe? I really don't want to trade out my stock downpipe due to the silly emissions laws here in Cali, but want the extra power the stage 2 offers.

I'm here in Cali and I've been running stage 2 with stock DP and no issues for around 2,000 miles.

Just got a catted DP installed today.
