BMW f30 Deep Scratch Repair Advice

Hey everyone I'm in the Boston area and while backing up into a tight spot knicked the rear quarter panel of my BMW f30 320i pretty hard. Looks like there is about 3/4 quarter of an inch that is bare metal with a small dent behind it. Any ideas of where to go for a body shop? Got quoted 600 for the repair from a well-rated body shop in Framingham, but have no experience with body shops in the area. Can't decide whether or not I should get insurance involved. Any advice?
