Hello All,
sorry for being away for long time (i have a lot of work)
anyway i went for maintenance to change front brakes and they told there are 4 upgrades to be done (Germany asked for it) as follows:
- 0061921 - Programming/encoding control unit
- 0061939 - Rework corrosion protection
- 0061536 - Programming and encoding charged under another technical campaign or repair
- 0061960 - Remove water drain grommet of units compartment

it take a whole day to do it, <b>anyone else got this upgrade</b>

after less than a week, they called me and asked to come back to check for an update
i went today and it did not take more than 30 minutes and when asked what was so important, they told me that they are checking the water drain (which is supposed to be already done last time)

anyway, i'm having trust issue with them as in one of the maintenance (they asked to reprogram the air condition and they said it will take 6 hours), but the take the car for 2 days without informing me and i have to go there to get the car.

when i was there i also asked the guy in the show room about the maps and the new 2014 3xx models, and he told me the maps will not be available for 316 and 320 and it will only available for models 328 and up (because of a missing hardware they dont put in 316 and 320 and they will not do it)

so any one with 316 or 320 and have egypt maps and navigation?

i still need to do some changes as below
- change cic (or the champ) with nbh module
- change the front light
- add rear camera
- add front sensor
- change sound system

anyone did the above (where and how much)

also i need to know the best place to go clean my car and remove scratches ( i prefer it in maadi or nasr city)

yes they did this at the service day

it really differs from car to car.

you can't really put the maps unless you upgrade to CIC or NBT which is newer, yea KK changed his headlights retrofitted, Ouzzo upgraded his sound system, as for the rest idk if any tried that here but there are plenty of DIY if you have the heart to break some stuff in your car lol.. I would point you to Maguires as Osmansky went there to polish it before I work on his car and they did a good job.
