spark plugs gap?

Hey guys
so I am running bootmod3 stg2 FBO f30 n55 and running the plugs suggested by bootmod
BMW SILZKBR8D8S Spark Plug - NGK 97506 gapped at 0.020"
or get oem bosch 12120037582 ZR5TPP33S keep em ungapped

I want to change the plugs again and have read that running stock gap seems to run better somewhere.

so with the new plugs should I keep it same out of box or regap to bootmod 0.020" ?
If you get the NGKs, you'll probably have to regap them no matter what. The stock gap out of the box is pretty high. I think the recommendation for keeping stock gap only applies to the oem Bosch plugs, for which regapping is recommended AGAINST.

0.020 is too tight based on my findings. I had to move up to 0.026 to get better drivability, idle, and get rid of some random knocks at low rpm.

A lot of people have been sticking with OEM plugs with Stage 2 bm3 as well fyi

.020 gives pretty rough startup idle.
