On one of the warmest days of the year the aircon has decided not to work. It's on the lowest setting, 16 and there is nothing. Even the fan is playing up. It feels like a 90yr old blowing through a straw!!!!! Surely it doesn't need re gassing, does it? I feel a stealer visit brewing

Was the centre vent on cold? I've made this mistake.

some people would pay good money for that





As mentioned though, check thumb wheel, also set it to say 16.5 or 17 and not lowest setting, check the temperature of the airflow changes.

What happens when you hit the MAX button? That will tell you if the A/C part of the system is working or not.

Thumb wheel was on cold, turned the fans upto max and nothing. When I pressed a/c max the fans burst into life but the cold air was still missing. Tried it all again this morning and a strange mist came out of the vents?!!!
