OBD statistics to track

Hello,

I have been an F30 owner for about 5 years now. My BMW (stock 320d ED) has around 230k km and has been serving me flawlessly until now. I have serviced the automatic gearbox and the timing chain a few thousand km ago.

I love everything about this car and I want to do my job in maintaining it for as long as possible.

In the meantime I have purchased an OBD scanner and I have tried to configure some dashboards so that I can monitor engine performance more proactively.

The issue now is that I couldn't find any information about what metrics to check with high, medium or low importance and also what are their limits, as in if one metric has value X and that value is inside the interval [A,B] then this is good, bad, optimal, etc.

Does anybody have this kind of information? If not, can somebody point me to where I could find this?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Bogdan
