Intake Air Temp Sensor: short circuit to B+

I got the code in the title today when reading codes.

The other day when driving home I heard two spark like sounds a couple minutes apart accompanied by a strong burning smell. It freaked me out when it happened.

Can I still drive the car like this before replacing the sensor? It's not a daily.

I mean, if there is an electrical problem... it could start a fire...

I mean, your call.

Now that I think about it, I can't prove if the code was there before today or not. There's also a lot of smoke smell in the air in my city. I may be overly paranoid. The spark sound may have been crunchy leaves now that I think about it…went to my parents today and heard a similar sound when driving over leaves on their driveway lol…

I also don't have any check engine lights up or anything like that.

No warning lights.
I cleared the codes I'll have to see if they come up again.

I randomly got the same code about a month ago. It looks like the wires have barely enough length to reach the intake when routed behind the oil filter housing. I wonder if they get tugged under high torque when the engine compresses the rubber motor mounts. I cleared mine and it never came back a second time.
