That being said, if I had paid a shop to install VSRF, remove and install OEM so I could return it, and then install alternative, I would have been LIVID.
I apologize greatly for the inconvenience, if you shoot over a PM or an e-mail to support@vr-speed.com we'll gladly supply you with a replacement. We've recently revised the B58 downpipe for this exact reason

I do appreciate the offer, but I needed to swap in a different DP when I took the other one out.

This is a complete fabrication, please stop spreading mis-information.

We have literally thousands of positive reviews spread across our website, these forums and our vendors websites.

The issue is that we're one of the most popular options available which is why you're seeing issues related to our products more than others. We're at a lower price point and any vendor here will attest to the fact that we outsell the competing product significantly.

If you don't believe me, simply go to one of our distributors websites and read the reviews. You'll notice there's significantly more reviews with our products vs others and that that 90-95% of them are all positive reviews.

I had VRSF downpipes on my N54 E60. I forgot how much I paid but it was at least half the price, if not more. I remember other companies wanted over $1000 for their downpipes. I wasn't gonna pay $1000 for a set of pipes. And VRSF didn't skip on the engineering or quality either and didn't charge the "BMW Tax". I remember a thread where the other company tried to defend their price because of their "engineering." And everyone on the forum just laid into them about how it's not rocket science and they are not made out of gold or even titanium. The other company dropped the price a little later. The VRSF downpipes looked so good, I remember taking pictures of them. (I'll find the pics) Such great welds! After 5 years of using them, they gave me no issues and brought me lots of smiles when I raced and beat unsuspecting sport car owners. Now a new owner is enjoying the car with them.

Back to what's going on here. Nobody here presented any evidence of things gone wrong. As I understand even flex pipe "issue" wasn't even an issue and was addressed with a revised version and the guy got a refund. The bracket issue is again... not an issue as there were zero problems.

And sometimes things go wrong and then it's all about customer service. And VRSF provides great customer service. But can't make everyone happy no matter what you do.

edit: found the pics

just look at those welds! If anyone wants to overpay they are more than welcome to. But why pay more when the quality is so good.
