Code P112F after CP upgrade
Hello all, I recently blew my stock CP and installed the VRSF upgrade CP kit. Now running 2013 335i N55 PWG with muffler delete and this charge pipe. I believe I had a boost leak after install and had this fixed by the mechanic who installed the CP. The car has been running fine for about 2 weeks now but today I got a CEL. I ran diagnostics and received the code P112F - Manifold Absolute Pressure to Throttle Angle - Too High (Bank 1) I'll attach photos of the code reader. I've done an exhausting amount of research on the P112F code and can't seem to find a definitive answer to what the problem is. I've heard everything from it could be another boost leak, a throttle body problem, a solenoid problem, a map/maf sensor problem, to even a cylinder head problem. Does anyone have an idea what the solution is? I appreciate any and all help, thanks.

I'd also like to note that I plan on buying installing the JB4 and running Map 1 for a little until going F.B.O. Does anyone have any experience with the JB4 on the 2013 PWG 335? I'm excited to start the tune process once I get this damn P112F code figured out lol

I believe that comes up when there is a specific leak in the valve cover or equivalent etc... its not common however so I don't think you will find much help. a quick Google search showed valve cover being thrown around often for a leak.
jb4 is not the way to go anymore, that's so 2013 tbh. I'd look at bootmod3 or mhd.

IC+CP and BM3 stage 1 or MHD stage 2
Add DP and go BM3 stage 2 or MHD stage 2+ No need to overthink it. DP doesnt affect reliability, but confirm emissions compliance. |

Hey OP have you had any more issues with this code? I had it for a bit after messing with my intake manifold to get to the oil filter housing gasket. I'm experiencing low idle RPMs and engine shaking with the AC off. Did you see anything like thta?

Funnily enough the code hasn't showed up since the post, but I do get a rough/shaky idle every now and then on start up. I'd actually say it idle's better when I have the AC turned off, not the other way around. I'm still sitting stock other than the charge pipe and it seems to be driving fine as of now, still looking into tuning but we'll see.

Forgot to mention but the car idle's at about 600 RPM where it should be, I also make sure to let my engine heat up and get spinning before I'm on the road. Also should mention I do have a slightly leaky oil-gasket. Honestly not sure if it's a housing gasket or pan. Hope you can figure the code out because I haven't found much.

Your leak is probably the oil gasket as it seems to be an extremely common problem, and a huge pain in the ass |

You can try unplugging the MAF as discussed here: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1854945
