It is possible, and there's a couple handfuls of drivers running the Performance Mid Pipe by itself -- though I have only talked to and heard those running the stock muffler.

They both share the same break point -- the beloved dimple.

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by the dimple?

I believe the MPE requires the stock midpipe to be cut in order to be installed. I forget, as it's been a while since I looked it up.

You are correct. There is an intentional dimple in the stock mid pipe where the cut is to take place. Our configuration shares this same break point -- i.e require the stock mid pipe to be cut at the same spot at the MPE.

Very nice. I think I'm just gonna do downpipe and midpipe and keep the stock flaps.

Any word on the carbon fiber intake or development pictures you can share?

Hi Josh was this video shot in sport+ mode or is that comfort mode.

Sounds very similar to the mppsk exhaust.

Actually it's three sections of 3" .065-wall mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel with factory-matched inlet.

Sorry to be a negative nancy here. You're basically paying $500 + ~$100-$200 labor to have everything installed. I don't think its worth it when local muffler shops can offer the same material for fraction of the cost. Having that said, I don't disagree with AWE exhaust though. Looking to purchase one in the future.

We have confirmed this is actually the M Performance Exhaust on this car. NOT the MPPSK or factory M Sport muffler.
