Is It Possible to "Code" CarPlay Into My iDrive 6.0

Just wondering if there's a way to code in Apple CarPlay into my 2018 F30 330i.

It has the premium package so the bigger screen with CIC NBT, I believe it's also the same as iDrive 6.

Thanks!
Andrew

Depending on your current setup, you can either activate it over the air from BMW or add a WiFi antenna and enable it via FSC activation. If you have WiFi hot-spot prep and wireless charging, you can buy it from the BMW store. If not, you need to reach out to a local retrofitter to install the antenna and get the FSC.

i definitely do not have the wireless charging pad.

is the wireless antenna/fsc code route complicated or should i actually consult with a retrofitter?

Carplay can be added as long as you have Pro Nav with the Tile menu - option 609.

Depending on the firmware version, it can be activated via USB stick or Enet cable via 3rd parties or you can buy the official FSC code from BMW.

If your car has 6NW or 6CP then it can be activated from the connected drive store.

This makes more sense to me and it sounds like I have the Pro Nav (tile menus).

However, I don't believe it has 6NW or 6CP... do you know who can help me activate via USB/Enet?

They are the options for Enhanced Bluetooth and Carplay Prep.

Send me a PM, I may be able to help with activation.
