Due to my ineptitude and excitement, I bought the KW DDC Plug and Play Coilovers direct from KW thinking I needed DDC... Turns out, as you may have guessed, I don't

I have unfortunately installed the rear springs before the realisation that I am an idiot sunk in. Please see pictures on eBay for condition, that haven't been driven on but have been installed.

Please see attached response from KW, not sure if you have confirmation of your front axle weight at all? That's the only reason the 35d's have not been included in the list.

Had a mate fit them in his garage while I was visiting family abroad - couldn't wait til I got back haha

At a more sensible ride height (or, when he gave the car back to me) they were brilliant - about 95% of the comfort of stock but the car felt much more planted, and much less body roll, even comparing to the eibach springs I had previously.

Now I've got the car decked and while it's still pretty comfortable for the height, it's nowhere near as comfortable as it was stock, but that's all down to personal preference.

Can't expect too much comfort out of a car at this height

I'm running the BC extreme low version btw so my experience may not translate 1:1 with the normal version

What size rims have you got? Are they 9.5j on the rear? I'm tempted to get a staggered 9.0j front and 10j rear, but not sure if it's too wide...

So, to confirm, these add the functions of DDC, without the need for the OEM option?

I have a F31 30d and could be interested, my car DOES NOT have DDC specced.

EDIT: looked at the link above and it appears that my thoughts were wrong - is DDC required?

Hi R99,

Yes DDC is required OEM, I believe the option is M Adaptive Suspension. These connect up to the OEM control unit wiring to have the same damper control as you would have as stock and using the inbuilt sport/sport+ selector, but these would be better quality coilovers and springs that also allow allowing for a lower setup than OEM.

sorry mate only just seen this - 9j front 10j rear. All depends on the offsets though. My fronts were poking more than the rears due to the more aggressive offset

Are they 9.5j on the rear? I'm tempted to get a staggered 9.0j front and 10j rear, but not sure if it's too wide...

I have a F31 30d and could be interested, my car DOES NOT have DDC specced. EDIT: looked at the link above and it appears that my thoughts were wrong - is DDC required?

These connect up to the OEM control unit wiring to have the same damper control as you would have as stock and using the inbuilt sport/sport+ selector, but these would be better quality coilovers and springs that also allow allowing for a lower setup than OEM.
