I am going to OC the shit out of it. RAM, CPU and GPU's. Have also got got very decent case fans and AIO cooling for it. Didn't bother with any of that RGB crap that the kids are all doing these days, but the RAM has it as standard. My IT guy told me that my GPU set up is totally unnecessary and way beyond using a sledge hammer to crack a walnut. Its more using a JCB to grind a peanut as he put it. I'll be using this rig on a Samsung 4k TV. He told me I am limited to what the TV can do and I would have been better off using a single 2080 Super as it is a more than capable card. The 2080S might be a good upgrade for the 1070. |

For the two of us that should last about 7 to 8 weeks. I would have bought more but "It's Coronoa prices bruv" have kicked in since Boris announced the first lockdown. That market is so volatile right now due to issues with the post from California that the dealers I got it from have since called me back asking if they can buy it back off me. I'll stock up another months worth and if this thing goes on for 3 months I am sorted. Didn't stockpile any toilet rolls, tins of beans, pasta, paracetamol or anything of the sort. Just herbs. All natural ingredients. |

It's a medium frame and I'm 6ft. As part of the buying process they do a full fit, then recommend bikes to suit. When I went to pick it up I thought it looked odd but did 23 miles on it yesterday with no aches or pains. |

I got mine a month or so ago, haven't been out on it yet as I've not had chance to fit the stabilisers, at 5 foot 7 it's a touch on the big side but I'll get used to it.

Purchases. Nothing significant; just the usual groceries.
We may have a crack at decorating the house, but we'd need to block-out at least a solid two weeks. Then there'd be a discussion (argument) about who's going to entertain/educate the kids. Then I'd end up being the one blocking-out 4 weeks to decorate the house. Conclusion : after lockdown I'll pay someone £5K to decorate the house.
