Words fail me

This guy honestly thought it was OK to drive around with this number plate on his Mini. Sussex Police didn't agree and he was fined £100 plus DVLA will revoke the plate if he doesn't fix it. (Assume the bitch on board is his dog or his Mrs)

I think that tells you all you need to know about the owner of the car.

I actually saw that car yesterday being driven by woman. The end of the plate was CO with a huge space between.
I guess the fine didn’t stop her?

Which reminds me I must put my vanity plate (well technically my sons but as he doesnt have a car...)on my car at some stage...

And no, I dont have fake nails, fake boobs or plumped lips....

And it will not be illegally spaced at all.

(I already have my daughters on the Mini and my son in laws and my late wife's are on retention!)

Bought a personalised plate years ago and never bothered putting it on the car after both my adult sons said that they would refer me for counselling if I ever did! Always forget I've got one until I read posts like this

We are about to do a car switch around and I do think I'll put mine back on after a long period without, plus I must confess we're buying her one which will technically be illegal but I quite like it as unless you're a car enthusiast you probably wouldn't notice. It's using an 0 as an O - I.E. G30 SJ - from G3 OSJ.

Burn away! But don't tell TouringPleb.

If you mention hair transplant about me, you clearly dont know me ..... I would say thinning but that was the description 15 years ago so maybe thinned on top....

Leave the fake tan to my daughter. Awful stuff. Dont know why she bothers...

You listen to your kids....? And I bet both of them spend more time on grooming products and looking in the mirror than any woman.....

My wife had one as i could lie about the age of her car then. My daughter wanted one as her Mum had one. My son had one as you cant buy for one and not the other.....

My daughter bought the son in law one - think she remembers me being caught out "working late" in the pub when someone recognised the number plate, and wanted to keep a check on him. His is on retention...

That was just an example. Though my private plate is a G and I do like it as it's a bit more unique than P, S, or T.

Haggling with a dealer on a 1 series M-Sport for her - AUC, low budget. Not emotional on it so depends if they give us what we want. X5 back to my full time possession. That's the plan, anyway.

ETTO isleaiw1, cars for me have always been about the driving experience, stuff what any one else thinks.

My Wife was like you she was always concerned with what other people thought, hence the RangeRover, she never had a Vanity plate though so I can be thankful for small mercies

Always good to slip under the Radar too in a fast car

I wasnt referring to me, may have been either the FFRR or the Lotus....

Mine is very under the radar in dull grey....even with a private plate that is legally spaced and means nowt to most people....

As for the plates, been done to death but I will say what I always say, wouldn't do for us all to want the same things, and in my case happy wife, happy life - private plate sorted. For her it was M for Mum (it was from kids), 30 (her age) and a 3 letter common abbreviation of her name that most people called her.... all for £250. If it was so cheap to make them as happy all the time....

When my eldest granddaughter started speaking, she couldn’t say ‘Gran’ at first so she called my wife ‘Gan’. As Mrs BT was born in 1964, it didn’t take much imagination to come up with the very reasonably priced example below....

Needless to say SWMBO was not amused.

A customer of mine bought his partner a plate with 'XXX' on the end thinking it meant kiss kiss kiss....well she wasn't impressed when her grandson came round and told her what it really meant

TBH, I'd only ever stick to the correct spacing and definitely avoid anything that needs a bolt or squashing letters together or non-standard fonts.

So in the grand scheme of things, what you've proposed isn't as bad as some of the plates I've seen.
