Is this a good deal? First F30
2013 335i xDrive Sedan - estoril blue
44k miles dealer maintained No accident / no mods M Sport Tech pkg Prem pkg Driver assistance plus Dynamic handling pkg harmon kardon $19,750 It has been difficult to find an xDrive with the DHP which apparently is a must have. Do you think this is a good car to buy? Going to possibly buy it on Saturday Thanks! P.S. Is the handling that much worse than my E92? I had xdrive on that too so no sport suspension. Hoping the adaptive dampers make up for xdrive |

He is talking about a 335i xdrive msport with low-ish miles and super nice optional equipment, not a sportline 15 328i.
The 335 he's looking at was probably 55k new. A 16 340 with the same options and mileage is going to be 32k. I'm assuming he can get close to 1k lower price on the 335. Last edited by AlpineX; 08-02-2019 at 09:40 AM.. |

that's kind of a lot of money for a 7 year old car. I can understand why, though. it's loaded with packages and has low miles. but still, that's alot. 16-18k at most would be reasonable.

Thanks for the feedback all. I had the car inspected and it all came back flawlessly. I know it's 6 years old but considering I can't find any other xdrive dhp cars and the low mileage and color I'm going to bite the bullet. Otherwise for a 340i I'm looking at 10k more

Quick FYI, and I don't know if it even matters, but I bought my 2012 335i E92 in 2014 with 46K on it and it was in flawless condition. After about 60K all sorts of things started to go wrong with it: gasket leaks, new A/C, new radiator, etc. I used the shit out of my CPO until I realized it was ending and got rid of the car promptly.
YMMV |

How you gonna do that? The 'max has a return policy that they are pushing an ad campaign for, they are big enough to back it up. Any random or small dealer that claims the same, good luck. No dealer is going to include any warranty unless OP includes more cash into his deal. The dealer has to actually purchase the policy from the 3rd party, and their rates are dictated somewhat by their warranty performance history.

7 years old.... but with only 44k miles. If you can verify a good maintenance record, I think its a pretty decent deal. Really well optioned out. Baby that thing it should last you a awhile
You can maybe go a bit lower, but Id take it. Bought my 14 in 2018 with 43K miles and I payed 30k. |

For those asking, it is private party. He had the prepaid maintence plan and it was all done at the dealer. He sent me the records and it all looked above board. He was asking 21k. KBB says 20 to 23k. He wouldn't come any lower than 19,750 after some back and fourth. Heading there now to test drive it and likely buy it. Will post pics if it works out. Thanks again for your feedback!
