Just recently purchased the 2023 Europe West update from BMW for my F31 2017.Hassle free which includes codes and no worry of messing things up,sum total of £49.That includes any more updates for the next year,why try any other way at this price.

I installed CarPlay with feature installer a year ago and now I have to go to the dealer for a recall campaign (0013510300). I restored with feature installer FSC codes, but now I have 2021 maps and my Navi is stuck on Loading… screen. I need to install that version because I don’t want to have any problems at the dealer.

Dealer ISTA only cares about the FSC Codes being OEM. I'd leave current map, put EVO on FM Radio, and turn in for service.

So, this morning I tried again to install de old maps (not really tried, but the stick was inserted and it started 😅 when I wanted to go to the dealer). The ‘update’ went ok. At the dealer everything was fine. After that I re-encoded CarPlay with future installer and that’s also ok.

I have some problems with coding using bimmercode (I can’t enter into navigation module to re-encode rolls Royce chime ‘cause the stock one sounds so bad imo).

I also want to update maps to the latest version, but maybe in weekend.

Thank you for everything and I’l keep an old version of maps from now on 😅

@dumitru.o I found one last night. It took 5h to download, but at least it worked.

Once Feature Installer is used and Head Unit is no longer in OEM Condition, BimmerCode will not work. Need to use E-Sys to code or do a Restore and then use BimmerCode to code.

Latest is Europe WAY 2023-1. The ONLY option for WAY Map Update is OEM Map FSC Code issued by BMW AG for your VIN. You can get from Dealer or a reseller.
