I also wish they would have made a engine cover like they do on the N55 instead of the little placard and paper sticker you get. : but I regardless I still love the kit.

Yes this is exactly what I meant - is the sound of the M240i comparable? I just would like to test drive something that gives me an idea of the sound before i pull the trigger on something like this....

PM'd you by accident - but meant to put it here. Could you read off the BMW P/N on the box or the packing slip and post here so I can start bugging my dealer about it?

Huh, I knew the cool engine cover was gone, but I've seen other pics that still had the little MPPK plaque on there, not a paper one like you have.

If you look at the pic I posted of my engine bay you can see the M Performance plaque.

Oh yeah, there it is! The other 340i MPPSK pics I saw had the plaque at the bottom on the engine cover, so I was looking there. I think it looks better in your spot.

I completely agree, I would like that opporunity as well... but I'm pretty well just going to go for it, and trust that 'comfort' mode is quiet enough for me. The reviews seem to say it's quiet enough. I just did another test-drive in an m sport 340 today, and even in sport+, I could barely hear the exhaust inside the car with the windows closed. If comfort becomes 'slightly louder' than that, I'll be fine.

And exhaust sound upgrade is kinda rich because they are piping in augmented sound on all the new cars. It's probably just upgrading the ASD modules :-D
