There is not at the moment. Once we plant ourselves in Europe and beyond where diesel is more mainstream I am sure further R&D will go to the diesel platform but for right now its just the SPORT tuner.

+1 Would love to see something for the 328d with the warranty you offer on the gas engines.

Thanks for reading!

Call Alex at GINTANI
He can open the ecu in a way that is not noticable and do a custom dyno tune.

There's no such thing as a tune the dealer can't find if they look hard enough.

Yah, if you're just in for an oil change or something you're fine, but if you're in for serious engine work, they'll scan the computer and see that the car isn't running stock tuning values, even if you've flashed back to stock. They can essentially pull datalogs, and then you're caught.

The only reason they would pull datalogs is for something crazy such as a blown motor. And they do this by flying out a lead tech from Germany. trust me , I've dealt with this .

The bring out a field service engineer, not necessarily from Germany. But you are right, it's only for major issues. It doesn't have to be as major severe as a blown motor, but it does have to be serious.

Interesting... I know at least in some instances I've heard of U.S. based field service engineers coming out to assess damage. Maybe it's a toss up who knows. BMW does some things in interesting ways lol. Sorry to hear you had an issue that needed that kind of an exam

Regarding choosing a mode in the app, once it's chosen, will it stay in that made even after turning the car off and turning it back on? Or, do we need to connect to the tuner with the app and choose the mode every time we start the car?

Stays in the last selected mode regardless of if the car is key cycled or not.

I have a US model 2016 535d. Is part number D440-0045 applicable for this car? Your web site doesn't list the 535d.
