Z10 Perf Exhaust for Activehybrid 3

Do you think adding this option to my order is a good idea? I feel like with the A/H I will lose a little something but know nothing of the specifications. I had a contact with BMW Parts NA and they never emailed me back and I asked the dealership and they knew nothing of it either. Should I assume that it is the typical 5hp and 8ft tq increase like the norm?

BMW does not advertise any HP gains from their exhausts...because there really are negligible gains from exhausts in general on modern cars. The main restriction is the Cats, and unless they are removed flow is not going to change.

When Akropovic markets 8ft/lb, that gain is within the margin of error, and is mostly just the ecu slightly recalibrating since the last run. You buy exhausts for sound, not for HP.

EDIT: that said, the BMW M Performance Exhaust really does sound good. I'd do it.

Thanks for the insight! I wasn't ness doing it for hp gain, doing it mainly bc it's a Hybrid and I love the m sound and natural sound of the 335. On my current 335i had a tech open up the other pipe so exhaust run both side all times not just open throttle and it sounds wayyyy better - even a little gurgle here and there.

is it confirmed that it'll fit? been looking for an exhaust for a while that would be confirmed compatibility with the AH3
