Bluetooth list showing empty - Unsolved
First,
I am aware that there is another post on here with the same issue. However his resolution does not work for me. I have a 2013 328i with CIC. I had 4 devices (MAX) paired to the car. My brother-in-law tried to pair a 5th device to the car. The car now shows 4 empty slots on the bluetooth screen. We can not delete/add any new devices in either the media menu or the phone menu. Old devices that were paired to the car can still play audio through the car... I have tried the following: •deleted BMW from iPhone Bluetooth •restore iPhone •checked all fuses for radio •disconnected the battery for 1 hour •disconnected the module cables (power and optical audio) while the car was on the reset the Bluetooth •delete every user data in the system •held buttons 1 & 8 to delete presets •hidden menu in iDrive •hidden menu on trip odometer •Called nation BMW genius •Called 2 local dealers •Check about 100 posts online My local BMW wants $165 just to look at the darn thing. I am looking for a way to delete the previous paired devices. Click here for my Youtube posting on my issue. |

You could try to reboot the CIC (4th generation) iDrive, press and hold the audio volume/mute knob for 25 seconds.
Hopefully that does the trick for you. Good luck! |
