What Black Friday Deals Do Have
Post em up in here. It’s commercialised rubbish and half the time cheaper at other times of the year but sometimes there’s good bargains to be had!
I must admit if I didn’t already have an oled65c8 I’d be seriously tempted at the new 2020 version currently 1799, bargain! |

I often have a look through this.
https://www.hotukdeals.com There is some cheap tat but you can get a good deal sometimes. I got a £55 box of Hotel Chocolat for £35. Also noticed Shark are doing deals on vacuums (sad I know). These (twin battery model) are normally £130, we bought one a few weeks ago and they are quite useful: https://sharkclean.co.uk/product/sha...b-zidWV251UKDB Also good deals on the anti hair wrap cordless vacs, again we got one the other week, brilliant bit of kit as no hair gets wrapped around the roller: https://sharkclean.co.uk/shark-catalog/shark-offers/ (and no I dont work for Shark!)

Nothing "yet". If anyone see deals on rattan furniture please let me know.
Hoping to get a deal while in winter.

I didn't wait for Black Friday (edgy, I know) but I did buy a De Walt oscillating multi tool this week and have already realised that I wished I'd bought one years ago.
I've finally caved-in to accepting that the entire house needs a complete re-dec so I'm doing it myself a) to save £5K, b) because I'll do just as good a job (if not better) than a decorator, and c) I've got a bit of time on my hands at the mo. The new tool is already being put to good use, and having realised that the en-suite bathroom needs partially de/re tiling because some of the tiles are coming away from the wall (bodgit builders). I don't have many spare tiles, and they aren no longer made, so removing the grout and adhesive, then re-tiling, is the way to go.

Sorry, I'm fully booked 'till Christmas. Bet you've heard that a few times already...that's how the trades politely tell prospective customers to jog-on when they low-ball the budget...

(am actually trying to work out how to tell one chap who has offered to do it that he is too busy and he should really not feel obliged to do it for me at that price - he has done family decorating for last 30 years, was decorating at our house when my wife went into hospital to have my daughter!) |

At this time of year nobody is ordering from factories as garden centres, diy etc all change ranges for Xmas products. We transport and store a lot of it, containers usually start arriving from January and stock build in warehouses until sent to retailers in early Spring. |

Just bought a 5-year 60k miles Service Inclusive pack for £667. Not bad considering today's first service would have cost £300 and it'll be due for a c£600 one in about 12 months.
Must remember this when I think of changing the car! |
