ISO: M performance exhaust tips

Looking to buy a pair of rep carbon fiber m performance exhaust tips for my stock exhaust on my f30. Found a deal locally but the inlet size was 2.75 inches when I needed 2.5 inches. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check Ebay. Try to avoid shit being shipped from China thought, there are a few U.S stores that sell those tips for around 100 bucks.

I recently posted about exhaust tips. There's probably some information there that might be helpful to you. Link below.

Hey I talked to the same local guy about those. They won't fit well due to the notch that's necessary for the tips on the stock 340 exhaust. Feel free to msg me about getting together for local stuff - it's nice to see other B58s in the ATL area

FYI- I think the big bolt in the back of the tips that gets tightened down to hold them on is beginning to show signs of rust. Also it's a bit longer than it needs to be. So in the Spring I'll probably replace them with shorter stainless steel bolts to prevent future rust.

Attached photos show the company that I bought my carbon fiber exhaust tips from. A friend who sells carbon fiber parts was impressed with the quality. Mine is the M Performance Exhaust which has a 70mm diameter exhaust pipe that the tip fits on to. I measured a stock F3x 335i exhaust and the pipes were only 60mm. So make sure that you order exhaust tips that will fit.

Thank you for the follow up.
I have the M performance Exhaust as well, although I have to check if I can remove the chrome tips, apparently some version have a rivet nut so it's tricky to remove

My M Performance Exhaust chrome tips have what looks like a bolt on the bottom holding them on. But actually the bolt is welded and doesn't move. But if you get directly underneath there is actually a small set screw in the middle of the bolt head that is tightened upwards and holds on the chrome tip. Never saw anything like it before!

i picked up a 340 that has the MPE and was thinking of switching out the tips out to carbon, fwiw i measured the pipe coming in and the OD was 60mm. i found a few sellers with 60mm but mostly 63 and 70mm on ebay.

My 340i came with the MPPSK, and the OD of the pipe where the tips mount is 68mm, not 60mm. Mine came with the chrome tips, I just changed them for carbon ones and needed the 70mm ones. I got the Kipalm ones on Amazon, but they don't seem to be available anymore.

I know this thread is old... but I was just wondering if anyone figured out how to get the tips installed if the exhaust tip is welded to the exhaust itself?

If it's welded no choice but today cut it... How ever bring it to a professional for an estimate and the options you may or may not have... Personally I tried some tips that would go over but without any success.
